Our technology barely works, doesn’t play nicely together, and runs code written in 1976. That’s how it has always been, and that’s how it will always be.
We’re spending hours looking for the perfect laptop, the perfect smartphone, the perfect audio system. The one better than the rest. The one with the highest specs and the best features, at a lower price than anyone else. With better “something” than anything else. It’ll never come. This is all time wasted. Nothing will come of it.

Not many major movie or video game publishers exist - the art is in the hands of the few. They're the owners of those works, not any of the people or the companies that actually helped make them, and they retain all rights to do with it as they wish. Sometimes, what they wish for is to keep their content out of your hands.
PC vs. console articles are clunky and bloated, and there sure are a lot of them. This will be another one of those articles, but lets see if we can't keep it from being ugly and boring. We'll skip the tired old arguents move straight to the good stuff.
I hope that true artificial intelligence, which is basically making human minds within machines, isn’t possible. I hope that, for whatever reason, robots are smart enough to replace human jobs, but aren’t smart enough to realize consciousness.
